It’s hard to believe that a month has already passed since our company event on September 27, 2024, at the 13th Auricher Oktoberfest, but the memories are still fresh! 🍻🥨

At first glance, you might think: "How could this fit?" But at M&S, we make it possible! Our company event perfectly demonstrated that you can blend Bavarian tradition with the charm of Northern Germany. 🌊🎉

Celebrating in Bavarian style, staying true to our Northern roots

The Sparkassen-Arena in Aurich transformed into a blue-and-white festival tent, where our employees and their partners were welcomed into a Bavarian setting. Dirndls and lederhosen were encouraged, but in true Northern German fashion, most opted for their usual attire – because as we say, “As long as you’re having fun, it’s all good!” 😄

After a hearty Bavarian meal and a couple of liters of beer, our colleagues danced the night away. The band Rockspitz kept the energy high, blending rock tunes with traditional Alpine melodies for an unforgettable atmosphere. 🎸🎶

A unique combination

While the idea of Ostfriesians celebrating Oktoberfest might seem contradictory, it’s precisely this mix of Bavarian festivity and Northern German practicality that made the event so special. It’s clear that the M&S team knows how to make the most of every occasion.

Together as a team

One of the highlights was that the event wasn’t just for our employees but also for their partners. A dedicated shuttle service ensured that everyone could safely and stress-free join in the fun.

We’re immensely grateful to the Marema team, whose excellent organization and reserved beer tent seating made the evening run smoothly. This event helped strengthen the bonds within the M&S team even further.

One month later, still great memories

Though the event took place a month ago, we still look back fondly. And we’re already looking forward to next year’s celebration!
